Non-White, Rucksack and Running - Dishum
Most of you will remember the poor Brazilian guy that got killed by zealous London police after the July bomb attacks on the Underground trains.
This guy was totally innocent, but being non-White and running to catch a train got him shot some eight times at close range. The police simply needed to show the Londoners that they were on their toes about this terrorist thing.
And so what - stop all the non-whites that are carrying rucksacks or are running towards trains etc., search them or worse, fire at them.
My friend and I were walking on the awfully cold streets of Cambridge (UK) the other day when the chill Arctic winds just sliced through my facial skin. He suggested to me that I should wear a mask or something. I then said if I wore a mask as well, then I would be stopped frequently by police to be searched and questioned.
And he replied: Well, that is fine. What worse could happen is that, without stopping you, they might simply fire at you, like they killed the Brazilian in July.
This is not just a joke. The underlying truth is chilling.
To top it all of, listen to this story from an Egyptian friend:
He was carrying a rucksack and running to catch a train in London’s Underground. He suddenly realized that what he was doing was very risky, and that he could get shot down! So he stopped all of a sudden and decided to give the train amiss and catch the next one, at least he’d be alive to board a train.
That’s right - running to catch a train could be a very risky deal in London if you are not White!
