Brown skin vs. Black skin in UK

Weekend riots between African-Carribeans and Pakistanis-Bangladeshis seem to have been pre-planned.

Bangladesh used to be the hotspot of racial riots decades back when “coloured” people fought the Whites. But today, the plates have turned and Blacks are fighting the Browns.

First, an allegation by the African community that a small girl was raped behind a Paki/Bangla shop. Nobody knows if this is true – nobody has seen it, there is no evidence, and the girl (if there is any) has not come forward to report it.

Within minutes, it seems, rioters gathered with their favourite weapons, which in this part seems to be sports utilities! And two people have died, including one African!

The Africans complain that they are not respected by the Paki/Bangla people – which could very well be true. But this certainly is not the solution for any problems in society!

This is a load of nonsense. I am from the UK though I have not lived there for 7 years. To put it bluntly it was muslim vs non-muslim. If you are a Sikh, Hindu, or Jew you are likely to be harassed at some point in a muslim majority area. This is not anti muslim rant. Muslims in Europe are much more radicalised then the muslims in muslim nations for many reasons. Islam becomes an identity against percieved discrimination. There is dicrimination but minorities can make it in the UK. Many will not return to Pakistan or Bangladesh.

The title black skin vs brown skin is miss-leading and can only incite friction between South Asians and West Indians.

It would appear anti-Muslim because almost all Pakistanis-Bangladeshis are Muslims. But it does appear like there are some tensions between the Black and Brown communities in Birmingham, at least that’s what all the news reports conveyed.
