Some American Christian missionaries are unsuited to missionary activity. The best thing to do is to study Christianity, for example concerning the Protestant doctrine of salvation by faith alone, have you ever thought of consulting the Westminster Confession in order to confront and expose some of these missionaries as being un-Christian by spreading a false pseudo-Christianity? Use a bit of intelligence. The worst thing that could happen would be a re-enactment of the Buddhist holocaust in India during the Parashurama times when Hindus suppressed Buddhism by genocide and destroyed Buddhist centres such as Nalanda University. Surely even to this day Hindus should feel ashamed for the mass murder of Buddhists in India. So no more murder of Christians!

I find there is more rhetoric than substance to your comments here

“Christian missionaries invading India in hordes”

The bulk of the missionaries are indigenous. Its Indians evangelising Indians. Of those that are foreign, as far as I know they have visas. How does that justify “invasion” language?

“converting Indians by deceitful and shameful means”

What are these means that you call deceitful and shameful? Offering hope for release from the caste system?

And where was the acknowledgement that Maxists have claimed responsibility for the “cowardly murder of four swamis”, that Christians were murdered in retaliation for an offense they never committed.

And where is this much publicized Hindu commitment to non-violence and freedom of religion? Is it just a sham? If you are committed to peace you should be just as condemning of Hindus who behave violently as I am of Christians who behave violently. Where is that acknowledment?

What kind of an article is this? There is absolutely no evidence and also MR. SURAJ needs to be tested mentally. You dont have any right to accuse something which is not the Truth. NO ONE FORCES ANYONE TO CONVERT, IT IS A PERSONAL DECISION. I THINK CHRISTIANS DONT ONLY SPEAK DEMOCRACY BUT FOLLOW IT. SEE THE ATTACKS ON CHRISTIANS IN INDIA AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO BACKLASH. I was wondering if Mahatma Gandhi would been killed by a Muslim or any person belonging to different religion how all the so called “HINDU EXTREMISTS” would have behaved. I have friends who are Hindus but they dont take law in their own hands and absolutely absurd for indiblog.com to allow such an article to be published. I totally condemn it.

Christianity in India is dated from 50 AD and India has been under European rule for 400 yrs. Yet with the “hordes of missionaries”, the christian population has never exceeded 2.5 percent. Wonder why ?

Swami Lakshmananda has been campaigning against conversions in Orissa for years, the same state where the Freedom of Religion Act(1967) exists to curd forced conversion. And hardly a couple of Christians were booked under the Act despite the anti-conversion efforts of Swami and Monkey Dal.

Maoists had taken responsibility for the murder of the swami. But VHP would not allow that technicality to stand in the way of a Gujaratesque opportunity to purge another minority religion.

Collect some village idiots, distribute unlimited booze and burning torches , give a couple of fiery speeches, add a dead hate-mongering swami and you have a working mob ready to rape and burn. It worked in Gujarat, Karnataka and Orissa. And the instigators can rest assured that there would be people like intelegent person aka sticky face aka wad breath aka Suraj to attribute genocide to “pent up anger” and “underlying causes” whatever.

You’ve been to southern Tamil Nadu. How come ? You saw entire towns converted ? Crosses on EVERY HOUSE ? Waw. And decorations bought with money from the West!! HELP!! Missionaries are changing the demographics and have converted 2.3% to christians within just the last 2000 years. Let me guess. Is it the heroin needled into your penis or the alcoholic rectal enema before breakfast.

Let begin again. No more personal abuses and insults OK. You talk of the “rate of conversion activity”. Give me the stats – hard facts not fantasia quoted from VHP press or christianitysucks@blogspot.com. How do you explain the abysmal levels of christianity in India with all the conversion activity(all of them forced)when the first missionary arrived 2000 years back and India was under western rule for centuries ?

Who cares if missionaries convert or not. We need some excuse to rape and loot and burn. Anything. Gujarat riots was fun. Killed over thousand mussulmans in days. You know what, a christian missionary(mercenary) gave a pamphlet to my neighbour’s wife’s sister’s friend’s son. The dogs! Our culture and demographics is being destroyed by the pamphlets. Lets get together and booze and burn some christians.

Hi all,
It is time to know reality what is happening in Hinduism and Christianity. It is not problem with either Hindusim or Christinity. Both are great religions to follow. But in every religions there are some people who misinterpret what each religions says. Because of this mindset some times the other religions has pay more including their lives. There is history saying: in riots hindus are killed and christians are killed. But why ? I appreciate bloggers if they point exact reason. I will give some examples: which may be wrong in som cases.
Why some hindus are converted to christians: basic needs of a common man is food, shelter and cloths, and frequently he is suppressed by higher community people. He wants solutions, he needs root from where he can grow. Some christian groups are supporting this and they adopting christianity and following. with their own point of view it is correct? Like this there may be many reasons. Could you please do some research on social life and findout reasons and hence solutions also. Blogs should be platform not for fighting for giving solutions to humanity with mixed discussions and solutions.

You don’t know anything and you simply read newspaper and watching news and telling that everything happened because christian.
World knows what is Christianity and who are Christians.
