Rahul Gandhi, please don’t be PM

Rahul Gandhi says he could have been PM when he was 25. Is it just me, or are we still in the sixteenth century in India?
That was the time when the king’s son was the next king and it went on. But even then there were battles so that lineages could be struck down. And here we are in the 21st century, when the country’s biggest political party is bent on dynastic leadership. Rahul has hardly crossed puberty and senior Congressmen want him to lead them – what is wrong if foreigners think Indians are too servile?
And you have to read what Rahul has said to believe him! Though he is quite openly against Mulayam and Laloo, when asked when Congress supported both the parties, he mumbles some Rahulese that only underdeveloped brains are capable of comprehending. Why don’t you judge his blabberings for yourself?

I don’t recollect Rahul making a statement on any issue of national importance. Does this 35
year-old, whom the Congress is so keen on thrusting into our faces as the next Leader of the Nation,
have any views at all? Does he have any opinions on foreign policy? Or economic growth of the
country? Or the uniform civil code? What is his stand on corruption? Or anything!
Remember ‘Leaders’ such as Rahul Gandhi & Co. cannot be thrust upon people and nor can they be
created by the surname, the party, the mother or the media! Leaders have to prove themselves worthy
to be followed. The first way to do so is to Speak Out!
