Communist India want to be bombed by Iran

Not surprising at all that the Communist parties in India should cry foul over the Congress’ vote referring Iran to the Security Council.

The Communists have traditionally behaved this way. They were euphoric when China attacked India in 1962. So their self-destructive nature is only too well known. They want another nuclear neighbour, as if China and Pakistan were not enough! And it is much too evident who the Iranians would side with were India to go to war with Pakistan. That’ll make three atomic bombs striking India together. The Communists dearly wish death for India.

I’m surprised with the high number of votes (on the Sidebar, right) for Communists being a good factor in India. I had not expected any positive votes; so it is an interesting poll – have you voted?

Manmohan Singh’s Govt. made a very mature decision in referring Iran to the UN; they have higher principles than just blind opposition of the US, unlike the Communists. I was surprised when in the beginning BJP voiced their opposition to this referral. I think they took the meaning of the word “Opposition party” too literally!

Well, they have also matured and sided with the Govt., against Iran. Good!

But the West, I wonder, from what moral standpoint they preach non-proliferation to the rest of the world! Is it like: see, I have a zillion nuclear bombs; but you shouldn’t because they are bad! As a person, I like the Communist idea of defying the West and letting any country possess nuclear arms. The point here is to defy the US and EU, not nuclear proliferation.

But as a responsible Govt., the criterion should be national security.

Moral of the story: Never trust yourself to a Communist!

Whoever says that the west has no business to preach what they do not practice here cannot be faulted logically. For how long can a piece of paper prevent proliferation because people who are hell bent on doing it will do it. There is one spiritual guru who suggested that the focus should be more to unite the world through arts and sports. This is like missing the wood for the trees. When you take more power than you can handle, it boomerangs on you. Nuclear weapons are like crackers in a child’s hand. One can only hope better sense prevails.

Hi Hiren – Nuclear weapons are here in the world to stay. In fact, many developed countries also carry out extensive research to produce even more potent nuclear weapons, apart from biological and chemical weapons.
