Of course the writer’s observation of war on terror is quite welcome, but the political bosses have no guts/will to defend ourselves as US did when they were struck. We are not secure in our land and the entire nation from North to south and east to west is suffering from terrorism, sabotage, discontent among the masses coming out in many forms of frustration unbutoned. It is high time our MP’s and MLA’s use their wisdom to protect the common man rather than curropt politicians themselves. People should take the law into their hands by forming village communes and defend themselves from strangers, terrorists etc.. by forming self defense armies.

hi Niranjan – our top institutes are already quite guarded, and even if they become more heavily guarded, I don’t know if it will adversely affect their intellectual status. But it will certainly be bad for the immediate society as well as for all of India.

do u think that by becoming guarded fortresses the institutes will remain intellectual jewewls?
this is not gold dear, the more u are open about knowledge, the more u benefit
